Space Availability - SKYCTC Learning Commons

The Learning Commons, located in Building L, Rooms 119 & 113 on Main Campus, has four Study Rooms:

  • L113A in the Library (2-6 person capacity)
  • L113B in the Library (2-6 person capacity)
  • L119H in the Learning Commons (1-3 person capacity)
  • L119I in the Learning Commons (1-3 person capacity)
  • L119J in the Learning Commons (1-3 person capacity)

Study Rooms may be reserved for individual or group study, for virtual appointments with tutors or librarians, or exam accommodations/proctored exams.

  • Study Room L113A contains a large table with 6 chairs. This room also contains a large screen TV with ports for USB, HDMI, and VGA connections. A student may check out a laptop from the help desk to use in the room. If you wish to connect your own device to the TV, please ask a Learning Commons staff member for assistance.
  • Study Room L113B contains two high top desks with chairs, one desktop computer with a webcam, and one additional small table with six chairs.  
  • Study Rooms L119HL119I, & L119J each contain a desktop computer with a webcam and 2 chairs.  Additional chairs may be added as needed.  A student may also check out a laptop from the help desk to use in these rooms.

Anatomy & Physiology (A & P) Models of a Human Skeleton (assembled & disarticulated), Heart/Lung, Brain, Torso, and Muscles may be used in one of the study rooms or at a table anywhere in the Learning Commons or Library.  For assistance with the A & P Models, please ask at the help desk.


To reserve a study room, select a time slot(s) from the row that matches the room you would like to reserve.

Study rooms may be reserved in increments of 30 minutes for up to 2 hours per day, within a week in advance. If you don't arrive within 5 minutes of your reservation start time, your reservation may be canceled.

If you need to reserve a study room for longer than 2 hours and/or more than a week in advance, please contact a member of the Learning Commons staff:

  • Ask a Librarian or Tutor - select the quick question option to submit an online request
