Study Rooms in the Learning Commons may be reserved for individual or group study, virtual appointments with tutors or librarians, or to take proctored exams.
The Learning Commons (Building L, Rooms 119 & 113) offers four study rooms:
- L113A (Library) – 2-10 people, large table with 10 chairs, large screen TV (USB, HDMI, VGA ports)
- L113B (Library) – 2-10 people, two height adjustable desk, 2 desktop computers with webcam, small table with 7 chairs
- L119H (Learning Commons) – 1-4 people, a desktop computer with webcam, 3 chairs (additional chairs available)
- L119I (Learning Commons) – 1-4 people, a desktop computer with webcam, 2 chairs (additional chairs available)
Room Features & Equipment
- Laptops: Available for checkout at the help desk.
- TV Connections: Ask staff for assistance to connect your device.
- A&P Models: Human skeleton, heart/lung, brain, torso, and muscle models are available for use in study rooms or anywhere in the Learning Commons.
Reserving a Study Room
- Reserve a room by selecting a time slot from the corresponding row.
- Rooms can be booked for 30-minute increments (up to 2 hours per day, one week in advance).
- Reservations are canceled if not claimed within 10 minutes of the start time.
